Statement

This piece is a depiction of relationships. Growing up, I saw relationships as one way or the other. Either good or bad, black or white. There was no room for nuance, no room for any gray area. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to better understand the complexities and intricacies of all different types of relationships. Difficult and beautiful and incredibly complicated. Everything is all connected and wound together and all of these different pieces come together to form the connections we have today. The good, the bad, and the neutral are all tied together and cannot be undone.
